As much as I want to support ethical farming practices I will be buying the cheapest bag of frozen chicken thighs as much as the next frugal/poor person which is why animal welfare needs to be legislated, not left up to the invisible hand of the free market or some bullshit. Invisible hand of the free market finds itself around a lot of throats.
No joke I feel like half of the posts I see on this website everyday are about faggots, dykes and trannies. They're all about love and sexuality. Yes even the shitpost one, idc. I feel like we've created this community where the fags trannies and dykes can be very outspoken about themselves, even parts that feel taboo to many people. I think this is beautiful.

Ok, I need to respond to that “dominant genetic trait” tag specifically, because the reality is significantly funnier- that’s Ty Tennant, Georgia (Moffett) Tennant’s son from before she married David Tennant. David adopted him, IIRC, and he’s raised him from a very young age, so he IS David Tennant’s son, but it’s not genetic, and if you know the hilarious irony of David and Georgia’s relationship (Peter Davidson played David Tennant’s favorite Doctor, David met Georgia while he was playing the Doctor and she was playing the Doctor’s daughter, every Doctor who fan at the time was vaguely amused by this because the Doctor married the Doctor’s daughter making the Doctor become the Doctor’s father-in-law), it becomes even funnier that Ty gets to flirt with his father’s coworker. Just a recursive mess of family business hilarity. Ty deserves this opportunity.
Hey, please don't take this the wrong way, but. . .
Obsessing with making sure that everyone you interact with online is "good" and shares in all your beliefs and ideals, that you only have "good" hobbies and interests, that you condemn anything and everything even slightly dubious both internally and externally, that you stay away from all "bad" things in case they taint you, and similar behaviors are actually seriously unhealthy and may be a sign that you're developing or living with moral scrupulosity OCD or a similar condition.
I'm saying this as someone with OCD. It's not healthy to see everyone around you as corrupt filth and a threat to your own morals. That's an extremely dangerous mindset to have and to encourage in other people and if you're falling into those kinds of cycles, please get help from someone.
Actually no, as the trans op, I am going to say that you can't actually go on my post and say this shit. Moral purity and OCD are entirely different from warning people that a person is a violent bigot and that their bigotry puts the things they say, about gender especially, in a completely different light. Jonmartin is important cause no their love didn't stop the world from ending and it didn't stop the ending but it existed and it made laughter during the literal apocalypse possible and that matters. Their love exists and that matters, regardless of what it does or doesn't materially change.
